The fleur de sel is the thin layer of sea salt crystals that forms on the surface of salt pans.
Considered the purest type of salt that exists, as it does not undergo any industrial process after its collection, it is used in the preparation and finalization of recipes with a high standard of quality.
It has a natural concentration of iron, zinc, magnesium, iodine, fluorine, sodium, calcium, potassium and copper.
As part of a social project, the extraction process is carried out by hand in Nova Mambone, in the province of Inhambane.
Use to season meat or fish dishes as well as vegetables after preparation.
